A coletânea Sega Genesis Classics foi anunciada para Nintendo Switch, e tem previsão de lançamento para o último trimestre de 2018. Com mais de 50 títulos do antigo Mega Drive disponíveis, o jogo será lançado tanto em versão física quanto digital.

Além do multiplayer convencional, onde cada jogador usa um Joy-Con, haverá a possibilidade de jogatina online. Outros recursos modernos, como o sistema de troféus, também foram adicionados.
